The public hears a rare side effect, watches a youtube video, and feel it the place to have others avoid vaccines…it is statistically much more probable of obtaining GBS (which is autoimmune) from the flu, prevalent cold, GI viral infection, mono, hapatitis, or campylobacteriosis (eating undercooked poultry) than a vaccine – there is the same risk after surgery as after a vaccine and please don’t suggest we stop surgical procedures because of GBS.
